Filming a quinceañera: what the full event video, recaps and aerial footage add

Videographer filming a quinceañera's waltz with her father in an Arizona reception hall

Quinceañera video cost in Arizona

With IAZ Photo Studio, quinceañera video costs from $1,250 if you book video only (4 hours and the full edited video), and it comes with all three photo and video packages, from $2,150 to $4,995. What changes the price is what gets added to the full video: the Event Highlight Videos, streaming for family far away, the Personalized Event Website and Aerial Drone Footage, which only the Deluxe Package includes.

Many price lists give you a number without saying which video you get. Here we explain each piece, what it does for your party and what it costs, so you know whether the full video is enough or a bigger package is worth it.

Add-on prices apply to the photo and video packages.

The full event video comes with every package

The full video is the base of any coverage: the party edited in order, with the Mass, the waltz, the surprise dance and the toast, delivered on a USB drive. It comes with all three photo and video packages and all three video-only packages.

What changes is how much of your day fits in it. Four hours of video only covers part of the day, such as the reception; the 8 hours in the Essential Package run from the Mass to 10:00 pm; 10 or 12 hours also cover getting ready at home. Hours are continuous and include travel and waiting time.

The 5-minute and 1-minute Event Highlight Videos: when they're worth it

Event Highlight Videos are short versions of the day, each with its own job. The 5-minute version is the one the family watches all the way through on each anniversary; the 1-minute version is for social media and for texting to the padrinos.

They're worth it if you know few people will sit through a video several hours long, or if you want something to share soon. Both come in the Complete and Deluxe; with the Essential, you can add the 5-minute version for $160 and the 1-minute version for $100.

Streaming and the Personalized Event Website are two different things

The Online Video Streaming Experience lets family far away watch the video from anywhere. If Grandma lives in Mexico or an uncle couldn't travel, they get a link and watch on their phone or TV, without downloading heavy files. It comes in the Complete and Deluxe, and it's $450 as an add-on.

The Personalized Event Website, only in the Deluxe, is something else: a custom site where guests come back to see everything together, including the pre-event session and party photos, the slideshows, the Event Highlight Video and the full video. If all you need is for family far away to watch the video, streaming is enough.

Aerial Drone Footage depends on the venue and FAA rules

Aerial Drone Footage shows the reception hall, the garden or the quinceañera's arrival from above, and it comes only in the Deluxe Package. It always depends on the venue and the rules allowing a flight.

In the United States, flying a drone for work falls under the FAA's small drone rules, known as Part 107 (FAA (opens in a new tab), checked November 7, 2026). Those rules call for staying clear of airports and set conditions for flying over people. On top of that, each venue, church or park decides whether it allows drones, so ask yours before you count on those shots.

Video-only quinceañera coverage from $1,250

Video only makes sense if someone else is already taking the photos, or if what you most want to keep is the voices, the music and the dancing. All three include the full edited video, a gallery and a USB drive; the Classic adds the 1-minute Event Highlight Video and the Signature adds both the 1-minute and 5-minute versions. They don't include a Pre-Event Photo Session. To decide between one service and both, read photo, video or both.

PackagePriceHours and locationsWhat it includes
Essential$1,2504 hours, 2 locationsFull edited event video, gallery and USB
Classic$1,5506 hours, 3 locationsFull edited video, gallery, USB and the 1-minute highlight
Signature$1,8958 hours, 3 locationsFull edited video, gallery, USB and the 1- and 5-minute highlights

No pre-event session and no extras beyond the list.

When to move up from the Complete Package to the Deluxe

Moving from the Complete to the Deluxe costs $1,745 and brings much more than Aerial Drone Footage: 2 more hours, a fourth location, the Personalized Event Website, a 40-page album, the Modern guest book, a Samsung tablet with every photo and video, and 6 personalized mugs.

It makes sense if your day starts early and has four places to cover, or if you want one place where the family can see everything. If the drone is the only thing pulling you, compare calmly: the Complete already includes the highlight videos, the slideshows and streaming. Every piece is explained in what each quinceañera package includes.

How we film the waltz and the surprise dance with two cameras

At every event we film with two video cameras and bring backup equipment: if a computer fails during editing, what's lost is time, not the footage. We explain why in how we film and back up your event.

Two things are up to you: - Tell the team about the surprises. Keep the secret from the guests, not from the person filming. - Check whether you need two videographers. If the quinceañera and the court of honor get ready in different places at the same time, an additional videographer is $600 for the first 4 hours and $150 per hour after, booked before your final payment.

If you're looking for a wedding video

Wedding packages are the same, but a wedding film centers on the vows, the toasts and the first dance. We explain it in what's in a wedding film, and the prices are in wedding photography and video cost.

When the quinceañera video arrives

With photo and video packages, usual delivery is 4 to 8 weeks, counted from when you choose your photos in the online gallery; you have 4 weeks after the party to choose them. If you book video only, ask us about the timing for your date. Your contract sets the final terms, and your files are kept for one year, so download and back up your video within the first year.
