With IAZ Photo Studio, wedding photography and video in Arizona costs $2,150, $3,250 or $4,995, depending on the package. All three include a photographer and a videographer, a photo session before the wedding and the edited video; the price changes with the hours of coverage, the number of locations and what you take home.
Many wedding quotes say "starting at" without listing what's included. Here are our prices in dollars, what goes into each package and what pushes the total up, so you can hold any quote to the same list. They're the same packages we use for quinceañeras, and what you read here is what goes in the contract.

The Complete Package is the one couples choose most: for $1,100 more than the Essential, it adds two hours, one location, every photo, the album and the highlight videos.
What raises or lowers the cost of wedding photo and video
Any wedding coverage price comes down to three things. Ask about each one when you compare, because two identical prices can include very different work.
The hours your wedding day runs
Hours move the price more than anything else, because they are hours for two people working. A typical day runs from the couple getting ready to the ceremony, photos with family and padrinos, and the reception.
If the ceremony is at 3 pm and you want couple portraits an hour before, 2 pm to 10 pm is 8 hours, which is what the Essential Package includes. With getting ready from noon, you need 10. Hours are continuous: travel and waiting time count inside them. Coverage ends at 10:00 pm, and each extra hour is $150.
Are hours after 10 pm worth paying for? By then the key moments have almost always happened, and we'll tell you so honestly before you add time. To work out yours, read how many hours of wedding photography and video you need.
Locations and where you both get ready
Every separate place counts as a location: the bride's house, the groom's house, the church, a park for photos and the reception venue. The Essential covers 2, the Complete 3 and the Deluxe 4.
If the two of you get ready at the same time in two places, one person can't be in both. That's when it makes sense to add a crew member: an additional photographer is $500 for the first 4 hours and an additional videographer is $600, booked before your final payment date.
What you take home after the wedding
This is where packages that look the same differ most. Check how many digital photos you get, whether there's a printed album, whether the video also comes in short highlight cuts for social media and whether family far away can watch it online. A quote that only says "8 hours of photo and video" tells you none of this.

Fixed-price add-ons for your wedding
If a package almost fits, an add-on usually solves it. At weddings, the most common are an extra hour and a second photographer for getting ready.

If you only need photography or only video for your wedding
If you already have someone filming, or your wedding is short, we offer photo only or video only at $1,250 (4 hours), $1,550 (6 hours) or $1,895 (8 hours). We recommend the combined packages first, because they include the Pre-Event Photo Session and the 20×30 framed print, which the standalone ones don't. Before you choose a single service, read photo, video or both to see what you gain and what you give up.
What no wedding package includes
Three costs fall outside every package, and it's better to budget for them now:
Parking and entrance fees: if a park, garden or building charges entry or parking for the crew, that cost is yours.
Long-distance travel: there's no travel charge within 50 driving miles of Tempe, Arizona (I-10 and US-60); farther out, such as Sedona or Flagstaff, the full driving distance is quoted in writing before the date.
Lab prints: your downloads include permission to print for personal use, and 20% off professional prints ordered online.
A planning tip that costs nothing: count the photo and video team in your catering headcount.
How you pay and hold your wedding date
A $500 deposit holds your date for you alone and counts toward the total. The rest is paid in installments, in full one month before the wedding. You sign the contract from your phone; signing and paying the deposit are two separate steps.
If you cancel 4 months or more ahead, you lose only the $500 deposit; with less than 4 months to go, everything paid is lost. You can change the date once, with 4 months' notice or more, if the new date is open. Each clause is explained in what to include in a photo and video contract.
Ask what the price includes before you compare quotes
Always ask what the price includes, not just what it costs. It's the lesson we repeat most with couples: two similar numbers can cover very different things. Get these answers in writing from every studio:
How many continuous hours and how many locations?
Two people, or one person doing photo and video?
How many edited photos, and which video: full, highlights or both?
What happens if you cancel or change the date?
What is the usual delivery time, and when does it start counting?
At IAZ, usual delivery is 4 to 8 weeks for photo and video, counted from your photo selection; your contract sets the final terms. The rest of the questions are in the printable list of questions to ask before hiring a photographer.
Common questions about wedding photo and video prices
Do wedding packages cost the same as quinceañera packages?
Yes. They're the same three packages, with the same contents and the same price; for a wedding we describe them through its moments, from the vows to the first dance.
Is an engagement session included?
Yes. The 1-hour photo session before the wedding works as your engagement session and comes with all three packages. It happens at least 2 weeks before the wedding.
How many hours of coverage does a wedding need?
Usually 8 to 10. Eight hours cover portraits before a 3 pm ceremony through 10 pm; with getting ready, plan on 10.
Print the questions before you talk to any photographer
Take the 25 questions to every call and get the answers in writing before you pay. You can print it without giving your email. Prefer to talk it through? Text or call (602) 753-7969.
